Sexy Beast

Yeah. This purse is sexy and knows it.
There is some divider action going on like in the last purse but this one have a zippered pocket and was either manufactured or sold locally.

Mmmhmm. Sadly she takes second fiddle to the previously shown red one. The handles are lovely and I like the quilted/brass tack look in the back.
On a more personal note, I'm suffering from SAD already. Well, maybe. It's been raining for days on end. I think I hear Noah building a boat. My walking is falling by the wayside. I'm just not in the mood to go to the gym and use a treadmill and I'm not going out in the rain. Something will have to give soon. Yesterday I was super-grumpy at work. Annoyed and indignant at all the little things. Today I'm just exhausted.

Failure Friday

Y'ALL! I completely missed yesterday's Thrifting Thursday. Sorry. Sorry. I know you were riveted to my blog waiting for a glimpse at another vintage purse. I was working hard yesterday trying to get caught up on, well, work. And I helped another friend with apartment painting. I love these people but they don't know what they're doing in the painting department. And it's not like I do, but I do know to avoid dripping paint on the drop cloths and avoid drippy parts on the wall.

Anywho... next purse up is this lovely charmer...

The other of my black purses, it is also in great vintage condition. No clasp on this baby! Just a mouth that opens and snaps shut. I also love the handles on this purse. A bit different than all of my others and that lovely lucite (I think) detail is rather sweet and adds some visual and textural interest.

I believe this is the original coin purse and the original mirror was also included, wrapped in tissue paper.

thrifting thursday

I have to admit, I don't actually know that this is vintage. I do know that I bought it at a thrift store. It is in a bit better condition than many of the other thrift-store purses. It's also a bit longer than most of my handbag collection which is nice. I believe it has an off-white/tan plastic liner with a small, zippered pocket inside. I like the faux snake look. And it's red. I like the red.

In the Pink

This lovely lady came home with me a while ago. The top strip sometimes likes to fall off as you can see from the photo. It was pink. How do I resist a pink, vintage purse? I think it's rather impossible.

Sadly, I'm having issues loading photos so only one and rather small. The interior is navy fabric with a zippered compartment on one side.
