Morning walk

Prior to the time change I had been trying to walk a few evenings a week after work. But now that it's pitch black when I leave work I've had to switch to walking in the morning. The problem is that this requires me to drag my arse out of bed earlier than I would generally. I have this bad habit of waking up around 4 or 5, staying awake for an hour or three, and then falling back asleep about an hour before I need to get up. I'm sure you can understand how this would be rather annoying. This morning instead of hoping that I would go back to sleep I just got up, made some coffee, and worked on finishing up a quilt (almost done! huzzah!). When it was light enough outside I dragged my butt outside for a walk. The beauty of living so close to work and having a minimal morning routine means that if I'm back to the apartment by 8:30 I can get to the office on time.

Anyways, all of that to say, these pictures are from my walk this morning. I brought the camera because of the "Orale" on the bridge. Orale indeed.

Urban dictionary says it means "Hell Yeah" but another meaning is impressive. Had to look it up!

Yeah, I keep thinking "I know how to use it but I don't know how I would translate it." I guess I think of it as an encouraging word. And then I tried to figure out where it came from and my thought is maybe it comes from orar which means to pray and so maybe it means something closer to God willing. So, yeah, I really don't know how I would translate it but it's a good word, nonetheless.
