On Sunday I went to an outdoor concert in which a friend was playing with some other friends. Now, despite the fact that it is pouring outside right now, it was gorgeous on Sunday. Gorgeous. And I had just had Indian food for lunch. Which made for an already good day. But then...

I
desperately wanted to ride in a monkey belly. And there was talk of a funnel cake. But they were shutting down, so no rides and no food. I was a wee bit distraught. But still, awesome monkeys, right?

I don't get that monkey ride. It looks like the monkey is having a camera surgically removed from his belly.

do you know why it's called Midway? and did you know the Ferris wheel debuted there? i am so jealous---glad you can be there!

PJ - I know! It's just so bizarre and I think that's why I loved it so much.
Ang - We were. 20 minutes earlier and we probably would have been all set. Thanks for being willing to ride in the monkey guts with me.
Tiffany - It was out in Elmhurst at the college there.
Mel - I don't think I knew that the Ferris wheel made its debut here. Cool beans.
