So a couple of days ago a friend of mine said something about me showing up in a dream he had. Something about me driving a mini-bus with lots of light on it. One of my co-workers is a psychologist and has a dream interpretation chart up on her wall. I'm fascinated with this idea of the mini-bus with lights that I was driving so I'm trying to figure out what this might mean to my friend. So I checked here and here. Automobiles apparently have a fairly specific meaning to most dream interpreters. What I vaguely knew and had confirmed today is that cars are related to control and life's direction.
I have to say that this concerns me a bit. I've had a recurring dream for a few years involving a car - I actually think it's an SUV (I wonder if that has any significance?). In this dream I am usually alone in the back seat of this moving vehicle struggling to get to the front seat to steer or get to the breaks in order to prevent a crash. Not a terribly comforting dream. But the reason I know that this is a recurring dream is that once it was different. This particular time I was in the vehicle but there was someone in there with me trying to push me out of the door and the back. When I woke up I thought, well that's not how it usually goes and then I knew. Apparently I was feeling out of control of a few things in my life for a while. I also dream about falling sometimes. Again, not so encouraging. The good thing is I haven't had the car dream for a while.
So friends, any thoughts about the significance of the light covered mini bus or being stuck in a moving SUV in the back seat? Any crazy dreams of your own?
